Finite Element Modelling

Stress analysis, that glamorous backbone of engineering 🦴✨, has been loyally trudging through the ages—quietly propping up entire industries while getting none of the glory 🏗️😌. It's a thoroughly respectable discipline, overflowing with clever people 🧠 and software so “intuitive” it practically requires a PhD in wizardry 🧙‍♂️💻. Over the past decade, I’ve somehow become rather good at both linear and non-linear finite element analysis 🔄📐—because apparently, real-world structures insist on being complicated, uncooperative, and tragically nonlinear 😩🔩.

As for space exploration 🚀, I’ve had the distinct pleasure of virtually shaking instruments to bits (politely and within spec, of course) for several European Space Agency missions—modal, sine, random, the full buffet 🎛️📈. On the ground 🌍, I’ve tackled impact and dynamic nonlinear analyses for medical devices 🏥 and defence kit 🛡️, essentially simulating all the creative ways things might get bashed, dropped, or exploded 💥🔬. It's been character-building, if not entirely sanity-preserving 🧃😅.
